Natasha asked to act in new ‘Rocky’ film

Natasha Bedingfield will appear on-screen in the new Rocky film.The singer had already been signed up to perform the theme tune for the movie, but now Sylvester Stallone wants her to take an acting role as well.Bedingfield said: “Let’s just say I’m excited and looking forward to seeing the script. It may be that I just perform the song at the end of the film.”The movie is expected to be released in December.

So and So American

I am just curious. Why do textbooks and so many people use the term African American to refer to black people, and people with yello skin as Asian American and the list goes on, but then refer to people with white skin as white’s? Shouldn’t they be Euoropean Americans? Or you could say white people, black people, and yellow people, but it is not fair to merely refer to white people as “whites” when other ethnic groups get the country that they or there ancestors were from follwed by -”Americans.”
Do you think this is fair?

Stallone Signs Up Natasha for "Rocky" Anthem

Natasha Bedingfield has been signed up by Sylvester Stallone to sing the theme song for the new “Rocky” movie.

“Still Here,” written by Diane Warren, will be featured throughout ‘Rocky Balboa,’ due for release on Christmas. The film will see Stallone’s character as a widower in his fifties running a restaurant in Philadelphia.

But he is lured back into the ring with low-level bouts before getting a shot at the world title. A source said: “Sly went up to Natasha at a party in LA and personally asked her to get involved.”
