Brian Stelter is the writer for the blog “TVNewser”. This blog gives commentary on the news on television. His blog averages 25,000 hits per day. So naturally I was curious as to how he attained such a large consistent audience. So I instant messaged him and we had a brief but informative chat:
zchbcklr: hey I’m Zach
zchbcklr: Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?
thebump: Sure
zchbcklr: I wanted to know how much writing you do each day, and any advice you
would give to someone (like me) who wants to become a colomunist
thebump: Are you referring to my blog or my newspaper?
zchbcklr: I meant in your spare time, but I would like to know about that as well
thebump: unrelated to my blog or newspaper? i don’t really do any other writing
zchbcklr: o ok
zchbcklr: I know some writers like to write everyday to keep up their skills, but I
guesse you already do that with your blog and newspaper
zchbcklr: do you have any advice for my blogs? everythingsylvesterstallone.blogspot.com americaisworthfightingfor.blogspot.com
zchbcklr: I do need to update them more

zchbcklr: Would you say that since you had a quality blog that was unique, that people came back as well as told their friends, is their a good deal of word of mouth with blogs or websites?
