“Mark Kresel has made birdhouses for Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hugh Hefner, the cast of “Everybody Loves Raymond,” Hulk Hogan, Bon Jovi and Shirley Temple Black.”
I love it when people find an interesting and unusal hobbie that takes off!
dailystab.com —”Academy Award winning actor Nicolas Cage is threatening to quit the movie industry because he is ‘tired of it’ and admits he has lost his passion for acting and complains his career has forced him to become antisocial.”
I am glad Mr.Cage is not so passionate to rake in the millions that he winds up going crazy and does something drastic. Fame has a way of making people go crazy if they are not careful.
“In a report from Yangon, the wire service said that the movie, in which the country’s military junta is portrayed as the enemy, is ‘fast becoming a talking point among a population eager to shake off 45 years of military rule.’ “
Ron Paul spoke at the convocation at Liberty University on the 8th of February. You can read an article at Liberty University’s website to learn about this event here. I had the priveledge of watching Congressman Paul at the convocation. Ron Paul may not win the Republican nomination, but he can still enjoy being in the spot light to get his views out such as Liberty University.
There was a small crowd of supporters that were enthusiastic during the speech, but most of the students remained silent. Liberty University is backing Gov. Mike Huckabee for president-and so are most of the students. But this does not change the fact that it was interesting and beneficial to here someone such as Congresman Ron Paul speek. And I am sure it was a treat for Ron Paul supporters to have their presidential pick speek.
Justin Morgan is a talented writer aand instrumentalist. Justin used to play the bass for the rock band Stereo Motion. He also lived in Nashville, Tenessee as a song writer for BMI Publishing. Today I want to promote his new novel, “Deep Below The Ocean.“ He has spent years on this project, making sure the content of the novel was as clear and captivating as possible. Trust me this book is worth reading. Here is the description of the book, according to his website JustinKeithMorgan.com:
“A man journeys across dangerous waters in search of a legendary treasure that will save his family and village from famine and disease. As he sails the ocean, he documents his travels in a brown, leather bound book.
Many months later, three sailors discover the man’s abandoned boat and time-worn diary. Stuck and surrounded in a vast swarm of fog, the sailors decide to read the book that reveals its author’s strange disappearance.
The mysterious author’s story of hurricanes, lethal sharks, perilous pirates, and deserted islands takes the readers to another world where adventure and tragedy collide to create an unforgettable tale that explores human weakness, the heart of man, and the mysteries of death.”
The release date of this book has yet to be announced. But I will let everyone know when a release date is set.
AP Breaking News: Evangelical leader James Dobson to endorse Mike Huckabee for GOP presidential nod
By ERIC GORSKI

James Dobson, one of the nation’s most prominent evangelical Christian leaders, is about to endorse former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, the Associated Press has learned. Dobson, founder of Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Focus on the Family, talked to the GOP presidential hopeful Thursday and later was to release a statement explaining his choice, said Gary Schneeberger, a spokesman for Dobson.
Huckabee had long sought Dobson’s endorsement, believing he is the best fit to advance Dobson’s conservative, moral worldview.
You can read the rest of the story here at the Houston Chronicle website.
I am glad Dobson has found a candidate to support, but what scares me is the fact that he will not vote if Sen. John McCain wins the Republican nomination. You can read about Dr.Dobson distaste for Sen. McCain, and the fact that Dobson will sit out if McCain gets the nomination by reading an article by a staff writer for the Focus on the Family sub-site, Citizenlink.org.
“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!”-Rocky Balboa
Here are the results for Georgia Republican Presidential Primary according to popular polling site Rasmussen Reports :Georgia: McCain 31% Romney 29% Huckabee 28%. The poll results came out on Sunday, February 03, 2008.
Sen. John McCain is not 100% conservative, but his voting record and stance on important issues is mostly conservative. Sen. Hillary Clinton however is mostly liberal. I hope Coulter will change her mind.
